CR SWCS was pleased to participate in the event hosted by The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute in Shanghai on 23–24 April. Mr. Roy Fan, Head of Sustainability, Climate Change and ESG Services at CR SWCS, delivered a keynote titled “ESG Information Disclosure under Hong Kong IPO Applications: Key Challenges, Common Misconceptions, and Best Practices.”

Mr. Fan also emphasised that boards should take a top-down approach to integrating ESG into corporate strategy and risk management. Early planning, continuous optimisation, and the effective selection and use of professional external service providers can better address regulatory expectations and strengthen investor confidence in a company’s long-term value.

CR SWCS valued the opportunity to exchange perspectives with corporates and industry professionals, contributing to ongoing dialogue on enhancing ESG compliance and advancing transparency across capital markets.
